Journey Through Advent
November 29th - December 24th
Advent is a sacred four-week season of preparation, reflection, and joyful anticipation leading up to Christmas. The word itself comes from the Latin adventus, meaning "coming" or "arrival." As a church family, we use this intentional time to quiet our hearts and refocus on the true meaning of the season.
The Heart of the Season
During Advent, our focus is beautifully divided between two profound truths:
The First Coming: We look back with gratitude to celebrate the humble birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.
The Second Coming: We look forward with hope, anticipating the promised return of Christ our King.
Our Weekly Themes & Worship Schedule
Join us each Sunday as we light the Advent wreath and focus on the traditional virtues of the season.
Week 1 | Hope: Facing the darkness with the confident expectation of Christ's light.
Week 2 | Peace: Quieting our anxieties and preparing a room for the Prince of Peace.
Week 3 | Joy: Celebrating the good news of great joy for all people.
Week 4 | Love: Reflecting on the ultimate gift of love God sent to the world.
